The Ship Brokerage Contract Management System was developed for TIDE Maritime, a leading ship brokerage company specializing in contract management and voyage execution. This project transformed their operations by introducing a comprehensive web-based platform that centralizes contract workflows, demurrage control, finance, and reporting. Built from the ground up, the system addressed critical gaps in their processes and provided a scalable foundation for managing all the company´s contracts annually.

Before the system, TIDE Maritime faced significant operational challenges, including fragile project management, nonexistent process controls, and a complete absence of statistical data. Without structured workflows or centralized tools, the team struggled with manual tracking of contracts, voyages, and financial operations, leading to inefficiencies, risks, and limited visibility into key metrics.

Pura Comunicação collaborated closely with TIDE Maritime to design and develop a tailored SaaS platform over a one-year timeline. Since no existing processes were in place, we built the workflow from scratch, implementing all core modules to create a robust, user-friendly system. The platform includes:

• Operational Dashboard: Real-time overview of contracts and voyages with customizable views.
• Contract Workspace: Detailed voyage management, including itinerary, laycan, cargo, finance, invoices, demurrage, and operational reports.
• Demurrage Control: Automated tracking and notifications to manage time bars and avoid unexpected charges.
• Finance & Reports: Invoicing, consolidated results, and exports for analysis by cargo, owner, charterer, and broker.
• Market Intelligence & Master Data: Internal notes and centralized data for owners, vessels, ports, cargo, and users.
• Checklists & Permissions: Standardized checklists linked to operations, with role-based access for security.

The system was deployed on a cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and ongoing maintenance capabilities.
